All the yoga asanas or the poses in yoga benefits one or the other body parts. While doing yoga we do different poses in series to offer its benefits to our entire body. Though all the asanas in yoga relieves stress from the body as well as mind, Bhujangasana especially has several positive effects on our body.
Bhujangasanas, as the name says portrays a snake raising its hood. In this pose we lift our chest and upper part of the body till the naval point while rest of the body remains on the floor. This raising of upper body symbolizes rising of snake hood. The movement itself has several gains ,but if you are doing the pose correctly along with proper breathing pattern, then nothing like it.
How much you can bend and stretch in this pose depends mainly on two factors, your age as well as how flexible you are. More you can stretch and bend better it is.
